Ikos Resorts is delighted to announce that Ikos Olivia has taken home the award for Best All Inclusive Hotel in the World in the 2021 TripAdvisor Annual Travellers Choice Awards. The exciting announcement, ranking Ikos Resorts as number one in the world for the fourth consecutive year, comes as all five Ikos properties prepare to open on 17th May 2021. Ikos Olivia is a family paradise, set on its own white sandy beach on the idyllic Halkidiki peninsula and sounded by 22-acres of stunning, landscaped gardens. The resort has 291 rooms, four pools including a lagoon style pool with a swim up bar, a children’s club and crèche and a football academy.

The award follows the announcement that Ikos Resorts is expanding its portfolio with the launch of its first property in Spain and fifth property in the world on 17th May 2021, Ikos Andalusia. The new hotel will reflect Ikos Resorts’ award-winning concept, allowing guests to experience the convenience and affordability of an all-inclusive offering paired with total indulgence. It will feature 411 elegantly appointed rooms, with private balconies, gardens, individual pools and panoramic sea views. Gastronomy highlights include an eclectic collection of cocktails created by Marian Beke, world renowned award-winning mixologist and owner of the acclaimed Gibson bar in Shoreditch, and menus curated by Michelin starred chefs at the resort's à la carte restaurants.

Guests of Ikos Resorts can expect an immersive approach to each destination, whether it be through Ikos’ innovative ‘Dine Out’ experience allowing guests to dine at local Greek restaurants as part of their stay, or the Mini Drive Adventure giving guests complimentary use of a MINI Cooper for one full day of their stay in order to explore the local area.

All five properties will open under an all-tested promise, which ran successfully at Ikos Resorts last season, setting the new global standard for covid-safe holidays. As part of Ikos Resorts’ Infinite Care Protocol™, the all-tested promise means that all staff members will be tested for Covid-19 prior to the resort opening and will then undergo regular rapid antigen tests. A complimentary rapid antigen test will also be offered to all non-vaccinated domestic and international guests upon arrival, while international guests will be able to book various tests on site in order to meet their required travel specifications before departure.
