Ikos Andalusia, Spain, to Open with Complimentary Medical Insurance and Infinite Care Safety Measures

Ikos Resorts is pleased to announce the five-star Ikos Andalusia will open in spring 2021 with world-class hygiene measures, a complimentary Travel Protection Plan, which in-cludes COVID-19 medical coverage, and flexible booking conditions giving guests peace of mind when they book their stay.

The Travel Protection Plan*, created by the regional government of Andalusia, is offered to all international guests staying at Ikos Andalusia throughout 2021. The insurance will cover up to €4,000 for medical expenses associated with COVID-19, transportation in a private ambulance to and/or from the hospital, repatriation to country of residence due to falling ill with COVID-19, and up to 15 days of quarantine expenses including extend-ed stay, meals, and local transportation expenses up to €5,000.

The resort will open under an all-tested promise, which ran successfully at Ikos Resorts last season, setting the new global standard for covid-safe holidays. As part of Ikos Re-sorts’ Infinite Care Protocol™, the all-tested promise means that all staff members will be tested for Covid-19 prior to the resort opening and will then undergo regular rapid antigen tests. A complimentary rapid antigen test will also be offered to all domestic and international guests upon arrival, while international guests will be able to book various tests on site at in order to meet their required travel specifications before departure**.
